Aaron Thompson is a public school video productions teacher and an aspiring American filmmaker.
Thompson teaches students to create a daily morning news show, where students script, shoot, report, direct, and edit all aspects of production. In 2015, his classroom was featured on Telemundo’s live morning news show, highlighting classroom innovation in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Thompson has directed three short films, one of which won an audience choice award for best film. He continues to cover a variety of events from professional speaking engagements and concerts to live musical performances.
Best known for his role in the long-running television show Sesame Street and the phrases he made famous, namely “Me want cookie” and “Me eat cookie,” the Cookie Monster has been an inspiration to people of all ages.
While Cookie Monster has yet to receive an Academy Award for best actor or best supporting actor, his song “C is for Cookie” has been considered for a Grammy Cracker Award on numerous occasions.
Cookie Monster’s motivational expertise is best demonstrated by his attention to detail and lighthearted spirit. When circumstances seem overwhelming, Cookie Monster always remembers to eat a cookie ; ) Yum, yum!
